Kareena Kapoor’s Style Guide Book…really?!

Kareena Kappor is set to release the ultimate style guide  titled as ‘In Style Diary of a Bollywood Diva’ and is scheduled to be released in December this year. The book will take the readers into an interesting expedition related to the life of the beautiful Hindi film actress, known for her exquisite sartorial choices. The tell-all style bible will tell the story of the fashionista’s journey from being a chubby teenager to a lean, size-zero actress. [Z4B: Dripping in D&G and Versace without a POV doesn’t make you a fashionista Bebo; she doesn’t have a signature style- so how is she a fashionista again?]

Kareena, in her soon to be released book , has given tips to replicate the dazzling looks of Pooh’s body hugging red choli and fitting pants from the blockbuster movie ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ and Geet’s girl-next-door T-shirt-salwar ensembles from the film ‘Jab We Met’. [Z4B- aren’t all of these things outdated now 😉 ]

Z4B Take: Kareena Kapoor is set to release a style guide book later this December…but I’m completely confused. Just because you have a stylist that dresses you for events and movies doesn’t really make you a fashion icon. Most of Kareena’s outfits are ordinary with extraordinary brand names…Kareena you can act  when you feel like it, you look pretty at times  but leave the fashion icon title to someone like Sonam Kapoor (Sonam can’t act but she styles herself exceptionally…I think she should be the one that writes this book since she’s the one setting trends in Bollywood).
